Sunday links: new finds
It’s Fringe time and I’ve family over so here’s a quick set of links to some new finds I’ve come across this week.
- Brad Shorr has been updating his Word Sell blog - the link is for the new site which he’s launching next week
- Rosa Say has been reorganising her blogging, writing and coaching activities so that there’s more focus, less noise, and - knowing Rosa - lots more impact. Follow her new blog at Managing with Aloha Coaching
- Laura and Yvonne are running a new group writing project on Shared Answers
- There’s a new list of writing resources at the Writing Resource Center - including Confident Writing so it’s obviously a quality list!
- Robert Hruzek is running a new group writing project on ‘what I learned from taking a vacation’
- Last but not least I came across the priceless “blog “of “unnecessary” punctuation marks courtesy of Daily Writing Tips. The “unnecessary” blog has been running since 2005 so it’s only new to me… but worth including for all that, as it’s guaranteed to make you smile - and remind you of some grammar rules into the bargain. What more could you want??!
Enjoy browsing - and the rest of what I hope will be a lazy Sunday.

Hi Joanna
Thanks so much for helping us spread the word about our inaugural Shared Answers Group Writing Project. Would love to have you join in if you have time. It closes on August 15th.
Joanna,
Thanks for putting all these links together in one easy and convenient place for us! The “blog” of “unnecessary” punctuation marks sounds fascinating!
Jeanne
Jeanne - it is. And now I find myself looking for “examples” everywhere!
Yvonne - more than happy to spread the word, but I’m not sure I’m going to have the time to contribute this time round.
